The large aerial roots of this plant are designed to climb up trees so as the plant matures, it will need some support through a trellis, a moss pole, a wooden plank, or some other type of support. This plant doesn’t like hours of direct light as it will burn but would benefit from bright light. The more lighting it gets, the newer leaves will start fenestration (splitting and holes forming). When the leaves get droopy, it requires thorough watering, so ensure the plant pot has plenty of drainage holes.
